The Drinking Song

A couple of years ago, I was DJ, producer and general dogsbody of an online radio station that I’d set-up.

The station was short-lived, but it did attract a few thousand listeners daily. Sadly, I had to give it all up when Microsoft removed all stations from their Media Player, making it virtually impossible to compete with the big guns of the industry.

It was fun while it lasted.

OnΒ the station, I’d feature music from the local scene. One guy stood out for me with his mixing talents – Nate Monoxide. I recently came across one of Nate’s electro-punk mixes, which had reminded me of my past endeavours with the radio station.

Here, Nate explores the night-time economy in Whitehaven, with his drinking song. I think you’ll agree, he’s quite the talent. The track was one of my favourites.
